“Our father passed away peacefully and with dignity July 2nd last. He was a 'man of nature', a fervent hillwalker, particularly of the Wicklow Mountains, and brought light and love to an awful lot of people all of his life.
From an article cut out from a broadsheet featured some time ago (found in our father's office after his death) we found you online. Having been made aware from your website that Kirwans Funeral Home, Fairview Dublin 3 stocked your products, we had a meeting with them on the same day and we chose your beautiful Water Hyacinth coffin.
Let me tell you it was so exquisite up at the altar of the chapel at St. Jerome's Crematorium. Friends of our father created a spray made up of birch, copper beech, oak and scots pine and wildflowers adorned the base of his coffin as friends and family made their way up in silent prayer.
I want to say thank you. knowing our father, and the man he was, he would have been so proud of our decision to choose an Eco coffin.”

“Our river farewell was really lovely. The urn behaved exactly as expected. We sent Tony off in the current after a short ceremony. Family and friends (54 of us!) scattered flowers and petals on the water as we watched it float away and sink after a few minutes.
We adjourned to the local hostelry beside the river for a bite and a pint afterwards. The weather was perfect for the occasion.
I would recommend the urn.”

“We wanted a coffin that was not made from chipboard or solid timber. We wanted an eco-friendly willow coffin. Thank you to everyone at Green Coffins for providing this option.”

"He was a nature lover, a man of the earth. On seeing the Irish willow coffin one friend remarked “Nature never did betray the heart that loved her”. I knew then I had made the right choice for my son."
